Sean Penn, Ann Lee, and CORE Team Honor Chairman Godwin for Work to Support Community

Jan Willaert, Deputy Area Manager for CORE and the CORE Robeson County Team made a special presentation today to Lumbee Tribal Chairman Harvey Godwin, Jr. to say thank you for his willingness to partner with CORE and support the community throughout the pandemic and recent hurricanes. CORE Co-founders Sean Penn and Ann Lee sent various gifts in addition to the gifts from the CORE Team. These gifts included a beaded Knife pouch and Knife with inlay, which is one of a limited edition from Cyna’s jewelers. Sean Penn and Ann Lee also sent a letter to wish Chairman Godwin well on his next journey following Tribal Chairman. Chairman Godwin also received a special CORE Sweatshirt hoodie as well.
