Rental Pandemic Relief Program (RPRP)
The Lumbee Tribe of NC is working to help our tribal members or Lumbee Students who are in need. Our Rental Pandemic Relief Program (RPRP) will assist rental households with financial assistance for unpaid rent or utility bills due to the impact of COVID-19. To be eligible, a household must be obligated to pay rent on a residential dwelling. Other eligibility requirements include, one or more individuals qualifies for unemployment or has experienced a reduction in household income, incurred significant costs, or experienced a financial hardship due to COVID-19; Demonstrates a risk of experiencing homelessness or housing instability; and has a household income at or below 80 percent of the area median. RPRP is available to all Lumbee Tribal Members residing within Lumbee Tribal Territory and the United States Territories and District of Columbia.
Applicants may apply online at www.lumbeetribe.com. Completed applications may be emailed to rentalrelief@lumbeetribe.com or dropped off at the Soaring Eagle Community Building at 422 Norment Rd., Lumberton, NC 28360.
