Lumbee Tribal Chairman Lowery Welcomes Students to College Day Conference

On Friday, April 29th, the Lumbee Tribe’s Project IndigeCHOICE program will host a College Day conference at UNC-Pembroke from 9 am till 2pm. High school students will have the opportunity to meet staff and students from various colleges including NC-State, Robeson Community College and UNC-Pembroke and UNC-Chapel Hill. This will be an excellent experience for students to learn how to choose the right college from them, tips for transitioning into college, and how to keep their college journey on track.
