Farmers, you are invited to a GAP training in Robeson County on March 12, 2025 at 10 am at the Robeson County Cooperative Extension Service. The training is a workshop for small and medium fruit and vegetable farms. Each farmer will receive a toolkit.
Focus Topics include:
Food safety regulations
Employee health & hygiene training
Safe handling of manure & compost
Proper farm water use
Managing livestock near produce fields
Sanitary harvest & packing practices
Farm cleaning & sanitation basics
