We Still Believe

Farmers, Ranchers and or farm families, if you are completing the USDA's DFAP and need help with page 21, let us help!

Farmers, Ranchers and or farm families, if you are completing the USDA Discrimination Financial Assistance Program (DFAP) application, you may have additional questions or need additional information with page 21 of the application as it relates to Tribal Enrollment documentation. This page has one section that will need additional documentation from our farmers.

In addition to a copy of your current enrollment card, an Enrollment Certificate is now available for individuals currently enrolled and applying.

To receive this Enrollment Certificate, The Lumbee Tribal Enrollment Office must have the applicant’s name and birthdate to verify Lumbee Enrollment. Also, if you do not have a picture on your card, it is advised that applicants visit the Tribal enrollment Office for an updated photo for this paperwork. You will receive the certificate to include with the packet to submit to USDA.

For more information or assistance contact Jan Lowery, Agriculture and Natural Resources Department, Program Specialist, 910.316.0870.

The packet deadline is January 13, 2023
