The Section 184 Loan Guarantee Program

The Section 184 Loan Guarantee Program was created by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1992 to address the lack of mortgage lending in Indian Country. The Section 184 Loan Guarantee Program offers a loan guarantee to private sector lenders who make mortgage loans to eligible borrowers for homes located in Indian Country.

Registration is still available for the Gathering of Native Americans (GONA) Conference on Thursday, January 30, Friday, January 31, and Saturday, February 1, 2025.

Due to potential inclement weather, the Lumbee Tribe of N.C. Housing Complex and all Tribal Offices will be closed tomorrow, January 22nd, and operate on a 2-hour delay on Thursday, January, 23, 2025

The Lumbee Tribal Enrollment Office is closed for new enrollments per CLLR-2024-1219-01, but the staff is still updating enrollment for existing tribal members
