Project ACCESS Community Camp

On Thursday evening, the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, Robeson Community College, and the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina partnered to kick off the first Community Camp for Project ACCESS.

In attendance were students, educators, tribal staff, and community members. The purpose of the Community Camps is to gain feedback from the community about improving access to higher education and career preparedness, as well as address these topics through presentations and talking circles.

The next community camp will be held Thursday, October 13th, at 6 p.m. at Two Streams Boys and Girls Club. Dinner will be served.

For more information please contact the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina at (910)521-7861.
