Lumbee Tribe provides Outreach to Students, Educators and Administrators

Tribal staff joined area agencies in providing outreach to students, educators, and administrators as they return to school.

During the Robeson Community College New Student Orientation, UNC Pembroke Student Involvement Fair, and Public Schools of Robeson County Opening Day, participants had the opportunity to talk one-on-one with tribal staff and ask questions about programs available to tribal members. Participants were also encouraged to Get Involved in the Tribal Community through weekly cultural enrichment classes, mentorship opportunities with the tribal Boys and Girls Clubs, and ongoing service projects at the Lumbee Tribe Culture Center.

The Tribe’s administration is dedicated to promote academic success through partnerships and learn more about resources available to tribal students and educators.
