National Native American Veterans Memorial Program

Everyone is invited to come out tomorrow for our National Native American Veterans Memorial program at the Lumbee Tribe’s Boys and Girls Club from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. The guest speaker will be Kevin Gover, director of the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of the American Indian. Congress has authorized the museum to create a memorial to honor the service of Native Americans who have served in the Armed forces.
